Great product! Works well

Unfortunately the scoop does not close properly - the poop gets stuck inbetween the claws - the surface has to be very flat and the poop completely dry/hardened/left for days to grab and close - does not work for fresh poop. I equate the problem to the claws being made of rubber - as rubber is bendable, soft and weaker than plastic, so the rubber against the grass causes an obstruction and thus lags closure. I have ordered a similar poop scoop from a different supplier that is the shorter version and the claws are like the rest of the product material ie. plastic, which closes faster and with great force - a literal snap as you hear the claws meet. I guess the springs are also tighter. The only positive thing about this product is the length as you do not have to bend, but I prefer the shorter version because it does the job efficiently with fresh poop.
